Today was interesting.
I was on the patio for lunch and made about $200 in sales. Nothing interesting. I got lunch after at the restaurant and then ran an errand for chef to get arugula. Arugula is expensive.
I felt like tonight I couldn't win. Customers were really annoying and wouldn't even let me talk without making me sound like an asshole for trying to tell them about the specials and whatnot. I had a few large parties, but I managed. Tonight there was a survey contest. At our place, we have these surveys on iPod touches that help rate us and the restaurant. If we got the most surveys, we won free dinner.
Guess who won?
I made $100 in tips tonight.
